Evan Gallows - The Rockstar

“I’m not gonna say whether I did or didn’t sell my soul to the devil, but I will say that the devil is a lying bastard.”

Unique Iterated Trait - 9001 Ping

This Evan has a surprisingly useful trait, a sort of high latency. This isn’t to say that he moves particularly slowly or anything, but that when he enters a new iteration, Habits are very slow to catch on that he’s there, and he can often outpace them. He has even outwitted his own Habit a few times.

Backstory

What would you sacrifice to get the thing you dream of the most? For Evan Gallows’ band, it was their souls. Steph, Vinnie and Jeff all sold their souls for rock stardom, but Evan? Well, one of his bandmates sold his soul on accident for another bag of cheetos when they were all high off their asses.

Once they sobered up, Evan was pissed. Not because his soul had been sold or anything, but that it was for cheetos he didn’t even get to eat at the time. No matter, what’s done is done. Say, who did they sell their souls to anyway, the devil?

The devil would have been a kinder option.

Things started going wrong fast when Jeff was killed in a freak firework accident, his soul stolen away by this iterations Habit. So, Evan, Steph, Vinnie and Jeff’s ghost set out to reclaim their souls, and ideally bring Jeff back to life, if that’s possible at all.

The only problem? Well, there are many problems, but the main one? The Habit they unintentionally sold their souls to isn’t exactly the most receptive to soul refunds and getting to him is a whole other story. Turns out, none of the band members are good swimmers, and this Habit likes to dwell at the bottom of the sea.

Jeff isn’t counting on coming back to life and he’s fairly certain the others will not be getting their souls back.

Evan, Steph and Vinnie though? They’re determined to march right down to the ocean floor and beat Habit up for his metaphorical lunch money!
